Welcome to Novaura!   I am Matthew Griffin and as a motivational speaker and consultant, supporting individuals and families with mental disorders, physical disabilities and Autism, I would like to offer to come and speak to your organization.  As a young man who suffers from Aspergers-style autism and who grew up in a family where I had experienced much personal adversity,  I have had to overcome significant emotional obstacles and personal hardships to become a successful member of a non-profit organization where I co-ordinate events for youth in the Golden Horseshoe. Thanks to the success of these events, I was recently elected to assume leadership of my local chapter.

Further, I worked as a volunteer at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games, working in Whistler at the Nordic Centre. In these capacities, I have overcome my own limitations and gained the respect and accolades from my peers, my superiors and my friends.

I would be privileged to come and share my experiences with your group and help those who are associated to gain a new sense of purpose and desire for those who need it.  I am certain that people who learn from my experiences will be able to have a greater sense of understanding for dealing with disorders such as Asperger's and that it will help them to grow both individually and within their family.
