As someone diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, a form of Autism, I have made a reputation for myself as someone who is able to demonstrate what means to persevere over this mental disability.
This has been done through my volunteer work for which I have received a number of awards and through my YouTube channel. I have also been involved as a youth mentor for children with various disabilities and have also been featured as a speaker at Autism seminars.
Whether it be coming to speak to you at a seminar or through YouTube, I invite you see for yourself what an Autistic is capable of.
Defying the Stereotype
Making a difference in unexpected ways.
On February 28th, I started what is questionably the most emotional video game that I will play on YouTube. You can click here to go to the series.
Eternal Sonata features the story of a girl who is dying from a terminal affliction but makes the decision to spend her remaining time doing all she can to reach out to others, which she accomplishes with the help of a cast of characters which includes the legendary classical composer, Frederic Chopin.
The story also features many important observations and commentaries on the trials and tribulations of human society and what we can do as people to help out and support each other regardless of the challenges that we face in our lives, no matter how overwhelming they may seem.
We certainly encourage you to watch the series on YouTube and share it with others as it will be a story that everyone, young and old will be able to appreciate.
On April 2nd, we will be recognizing World Autism Awareness Day at Novaura Autism with a live gaming stream on the popular live broadcast website Twitch.tv.
In keeping with the theme to "Light It Up Blue", the live stream will feature a famous blue video game character. We invite everyone to come and visit the stream starting at 5 pm Eastern Time at www.twitch.tv/novaura_autism. Enjoy yourselves and get to know me better as I will be taking questions throughout the night so interactivity is greatly encouraged.
